Outdoor Rooms

We enjoy creating a private little retreat in the backyard, such a Finnish sauna with outdoor shower and private resting area or a weather-scoffing, sun lit dining place outside.  Outdoor rooms complete a residence. They are not separate rooms but rather set the quality of surroundings for each home, and are part of it. We put a great emphasis on planning transitions from indoors to outdoors, considering views, paths and flow. Planning with the seasons, sun and shade, views, and individual needs are highly critical to our approach. We work closely with landscape architects to integrate hardscape, softscape and outdoor structures with the dwelling.
