Farmview Estate

The new owners of this home were invested in bringing it up to its full potential. When they bought it, the house had a completely unfinished basement, a dated main kitchen and dark dysfunctional baths  The carriage house which had been taken over by birds, was a shell which couldn’t be finished because it violated the town zoning bylaws.

On an accelerated schedule, we collaborated with the contractor to develop the scope required to complete the home which included finishing out most of the basement space into a bar, theater and game room, installing an apartment with a kitchen and bath in the carriage house, and overhauling the kitchen and four baths in the main house. We were given the creative freedom to be whimsical, reflecting the client’s love of the beaches of the Cape and nature using rich finishes and colors in the master bath tile work and the stove backsplash in the kitchen.
